CardStack

Terms of Service

Draft v1 — these terms are a working baseline and are pending attorney review. They are presented in good faith and may change.

1. The service

CardStack is a venue connecting independent buyers and sellers of trading cards. CardStack is not a party to transactions between users, does not hold inventory, and does not guarantee any card's condition, authenticity, or value. Catalog data is community-maintained and provided as-is.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you list. One person per account; we may suspend accounts that abuse the marketplace, misrepresent cards, or attempt to move transactions off-platform to avoid fees.

3. Selling

Sellers must grade to the published condition guide, ship within their stated handling time, and describe cards truthfully (including serial numbers on numbered parallels). Platform fees per the fees page are deducted when an order is paid. Listing counterfeit or trimmed cards is prohibited and grounds for permanent removal.

4. Buying, cases, refunds

If an order doesn't arrive or arrives materially not-as-described, open a case from the order page within 30 days of the order date. Cases are reviewed by CardStack; resolutions may include refunds reversed to the seller.

5. Catalog content

By submitting catalog corrections, checklists, or images, you grant CardStack a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them in the catalog. Card names, set names, and logos remain the property of their owners; CardStack is not affiliated with or endorsed by any card manufacturer.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardStack's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site and continued use constitutes acceptance.
