Listing cards is free. Keeping 40,000 singles listed is free. The fee only exists when you actually sell.

Shipping expectations

Sellers set their own rates within the standard model: plain white envelope (typically $1–$1.50) for small low-value orders, tracked bubble mailer (typically $4–$5) above that, and most stores offer free shipping over a threshold. Every listing shows the exact quote before checkout, and cards from one seller always combine into one shipment.

How that compares

Published rates for raw singles, as of July 2026. The short version: if you sell a few hundred dollars a month or less, the incumbents' fee structures work against you — that's exactly who CardStack is for.

MarketplaceSelling fee (raw singles)A $30 sales month costs you
CardStack9% flat + processing at cost — same rate whether you sell $5 or $5,000 a month≈ $3.87
eBay13.25% final value fee on trading cards + $0.30 per order — plus your own shipping/handling overhead per single≈ $4.28 (and $0.30 more per extra order)
SportlotsVolume-tiered monthly commission: 50% on a $5–$25 month, 35% on $25–$50, easing to 15% only past $1,500/month — small sellers pay the highest rates on the site≈ $10.50 (35% tier)

Competitor rates are their published schedules as of July 2026 (eBay trading cards final value fee; Sportlots fixed-price fee structure) and can change — check their sites for current numbers. High-volume Sportlots dealers ($1,500+/month) pay 15%, which is still above CardStack's flat rate.

The pitch, plainly

Selling $50 of singles a month costs roughly $17.50 on Sportlots (35% tier), ~$7 on eBay across a few orders, and ~$6.55 here. On a small month, the fee difference alone covers your sleeves and mailers. Open a store →
